PACIFIC PROCESS
Formed in 2005 the Pacific Process Group of shareholders and diverse specialist associates has grown into a team with a wealth of knowledge and experience which enables us to provide our clients with innovative ideas and solutions, but most importantly it makes it possible for us to formulate and deliver all types of projects, both locally and internationally. Born out of Auckland New Zealand, Pacific Process has expanded and is operating in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the USA, serving those jurisdictions and elsewhere.
Innovation, research and development are an integral part of Pacific Process’ portfolio as we are highly aware that smart business solutions stem not only from original thinking but also from a knowledge that each project requires unique design solutions. Our commitment to this philosophy is evidenced by the significant volume of research and development work, as well as patented technologies we have produced. This track record of innovation is a value-added aspect to working with Pacific Process.
As owners and Directors of Pacific Process, Andrew Smith and Mike Cotter will oversee system design, testing and Fabrication of the MCS units.
OSMOBILIS
Has been formed to commercialise mobile milk concentration systems in New Zealand. Osmobilis is a formal partnership bringing together the right people with the diversity of skill and experience to deliver this solution to the New Zealand dairy industry. A short bio of the key personnel is below.
Scott Crampton
Scott Crampton has been in the service industry for over 25 years, and with 21 years working in the highly competitive transport and logistics sector. Scott is currently an independent consultant to the logistics sector, specialising in large scale supply chain reviews and optimisation projects. Scott is the former CEO and shareholder of Hilton Haulage Limited Partnership which is a speciality logistics provider to the dairy sector developing end to end logistics solutions from the farm gate to the end customer. Partnering with many independent dairy manufacturers in New Zealand, the milk collection task grew to an impressive 70 truck operation collecting over 2 billion litres of milk annually in a short period of time.
Scott has also been ahead of the game when it comes to achieving a more optimised, efficient, and sustainable solution, evident with Hilton Haulage being an early adopter of the High Productivity Motor Vehicle (HPMV) permit system for the transportation of larger loads, reducing the number of trucks required for the task and reducing the overall carbon footprint of the Hilton Haulage milk collection task.
Scott has since been looking to further optimise the New Zealand milk collection task for a better and more sustainable solution, and a chance meeting with the Pacific Process team resulted in a common passion to deliver a better overall solution for collecting milk off farm and a few months later, Osmobilis was established to take a mobilised milk concentrate solution to New Zealand.
Scott will head up the Osmobilis operation and is no stranger to working in a rapidly growing business, to maximise the opportunity to deliver a better, longer term solution. Scott has extensive organizational design experience and is looking forward to the challenge of building a new, high performing team to take the benefits of a mobilised milk concentrate solution to New Zealand manufacturers and third party logistic providers.
